The University of Newcastle hired TwoCollaborate to run a closed masterclass exclusively for their staff in order to uplift their creative leadership & collaboration capabilities.
The University of Newcastle requested TwoCollaborate to design a bespoke training program aimed at upskilling their staff’s leadership & collaboration capacity. The group of participants comprised of leaders from across various departments within the university, with varying levels of exposure to leadership training courses in the past. The aim of the program was to introduce new ways of thinking on how to approach change, facilitate workshops, use visual thinking within a business context, learn how to communicate effectively and to ultimately step into their respective leadership roles with conviction and confidence.
TwoCollaborate successfully delivered the program over 5 days for the foundational course, followed by another 5 days a month later for the change methods deep-dive segment. The entire program was delivered via interactive training sessions led by experienced practitioners from a number of disciplines.
The University of Newcastle cohort emerged from the training program with enhances capabilities in collaboration, co-design, and problem-solving, ready to navigate the complexities of the modern business landscape. More importantly, the cohort developed deep bonds with one another, learning not only about their individual contexts within the university, but their personal ambitions, desired ways of working, and communication styles as well. The program was so successful that the university leadership team who hired TwoCollaborate to deliver the training stated they wanted to upskill a new batch of staff every year to speed up the development of creative leaders university-wide.
